Review Guidelines

Only review coaches you've actually taken a lesson with

Reviews are for golfers sharing their own lesson experience. Don't review a coach you haven't worked with, on your own behalf or someone else's.

Rate what actually happened

Every review covers four dimensions — improvement, communication, value, and lesson structure — plus whether you'd go back. Rate each honestly based on your lesson, not on a single good or bad moment.

Keep it about the coaching

Focus your written review on the instruction itself: what you worked on, how it was taught, and whether it helped your game. Reviews should not include:

• Personal attacks, slurs, or harassment
• Someone else's private information
• Promotional content, spam, or links unrelated to the lesson
• Claims you can't back up from personal experience

One review per coach

You can leave one review per coach. If your opinion changes after more lessons, you're welcome to update your existing review rather than post a new one.

Coach responses

Coaches who claim their profile can post one public response to a review. Responses are held to the same standard as reviews — no harassment, no personal information about the reviewer, no off-topic content.

Flagging a review

If you believe a review breaks these guidelines, use the "Flag this review" link on the review itself. You can flag a review as:

• Inappropriate content — harassment, slurs, or content that violates these guidelines
• Reviewer wasn't a customer — the review doesn't appear to be from a real lesson
• Conflict of interest — the review appears to come from a competitor, employee, or someone with a personal stake
• Spam — promotional or repeated low-effort content
• Other — anything else that doesn't fit the categories above

Flagged reviews are reviewed manually. We may remove a review, leave it up, or reach out to the reviewer for more context. Flagging a review doesn't guarantee it will be removed, and submitting bad-faith flags is itself a violation of these guidelines.
