Coach Dispute Policy

This page explains what coaches can dispute, what they can't, and how the process works.

What coaches can dispute

A review they believe is false or defamatory. Use the flag control on your dashboard. We'll review it against our Review Policy within five business days and notify you of the decision either way.

Inaccurate profile information. If your profile shows the wrong facility, credentials, or specialties, you can correct these yourself from your dashboard once your profile is claimed. For unclaimed profiles, email support@tourrated.golf with the correction.

A fraudulent claim. If someone has claimed your profile who isn't you, contact us immediately at support@tourrated.golf with evidence of your identity — your PGA member number, an email from your club's domain, or a government-issued ID if needed. We'll reverify and correct it.

What coaches can't dispute

A negative review that is honest and reflects a real experience is not removable, even if you disagree with the reviewer's assessment or find it unfair. A low star rating is not grounds for removal. A review that uses language you dislike but doesn't violate our Review Policy will remain published.

The right tool for a review you disagree with is your public response — visible to every golfer who reads the review. A thoughtful, professional response often matters more to prospective students than the review itself.

How to respond to a review

Claimed profiles can post one public response per review directly from your dashboard. Keep it professional. Responses that attack the reviewer personally may be removed.

If you disagree with our decision

Reply to the decision email explaining your concern. A person — not an automated system — will re-review it. If we reach the same conclusion, that decision is final.
